TEMPO: FROM RUNWAY TO STORE
Brand Experience Design
Beginning with archival research and spatial analysis, this project examines the shared evolution of runway shows and retail spaces as staged environments shaped by performance and audience engagement. These insights are translated into Tempo, a pop-up retail framework that repositions the store as a performative space between event and shopping.
CHILLHOUSE
Ringo Studio Intern Project
Retail design for Chillhouse, a modern beauty brand
centered on self-care and lifestyle. The space merges a nail
salon and café into one cohesive environment.
COLO COFFEE: KONG
Popup
Pop-up shop design combining Syracuse University’s
School of Architecture and Colo Coffee from Colombia. Inspired
by the idea of a temple, the space blends daily rituals with
moments of meditation.
OUROBOROS
Scenography
Immersive performance design combining installation, interactive media, and pole dance. The work unfolds through seven chapters that explore cycles of trauma, healing, and embodied resilience.
X-RAY
Scenography
Installation design based on the concept of “reveal,”
exploring how hidden elements can be perceived through shadow.
The work invites viewers to experience space indirectly,
uncovering what is usually unseen.
WATER WAVE
Scenography
Installation inspired by the historical and
environmental context of the Erie Canal. The design
reinterprets the rhythmic movement of water to evoke memory
and create a nocturnal experience of light, motion, and
atmosphere.
DESTINATION
Scenography
Site-specific installation along the Erie Canal in
Syracuse, visualizing the time and distance of cargo movement
between locks. The projection transforms data into a dynamic
display that connects historical infrastructure with
contemporary experience.
EXTENDING THE BODY
Experimental Garment Installation
Design experiment exploring how material behavior can
define garment structure. Using balloons and stockings, the
study investigates elasticity, gravity, and tension to
generate natural draping formed by weight.
URBAN PARCHMENT
Plaza
Urban design proposal reimagining the Chiang Kai-shek
Memorial Hall Plaza as a space where memory and everyday life
coexist. The project introduces new programs and circulation
to soften its monumental character and reconnect the site with
contemporary urban life.
NEWLY ICON
Museum
Expansion proposal for the Taipei Fine Arts Museum
addressing the lack of collection space in the existing
building. The project introduces a new east wing and explores
the spatial dialogue between old and new museums,
reinterpreting how exhibitions may evolve in the
future.
HIVE LIVING
Housing
Housing design exploring future modes of living and
community formation within the urban environment. The project
introduces the concept of porosity to challenge standardized
high-rise typologies and respond to shifting family structures
and short-term residency patterns.
LAYER BY LAYER
Hospitality
Architectural design that mediates between old and new
through form and structure. The project introduces a
connective path through the site, fostering encounters and
linking the building with its surroundings and the larger
urban context.
